Healthier Inner Dialogue - Beauty Re-Revisited

This is a poem by Katie Makkai. The last stanza of her performance honestly (and literally) brings tears to my eyes. So powerful. Chilling. I hope you enjoy it.

Wow, Terry, I have chills..this is so powerful. This message is something that I have tried to teach my daughter. Not the "Pretty" word but rather having a strong sense of self and self acceptance and understanding that she has all the power in her life....the power for success,happiness, etc. And that she should never turn this power over to anyone! :)
