Hi, my name is Terry.
I am the creative spirit behind Write Create Connect, and I'm so happy that you have stopped by. My intention with this blog is to create a place that is funny, supportive, and inspirational. I hope that's what you find here.
A little bit about me:
I am a writer. I've been writing since I can't remember when, but as many writers do, I completely fart around with it. I haven't written seriously, but I'm hoping to change that this year.
I am also an artist. Well, that's actually a new thing for me that has quickly become a sort of therapy. I focus way too much on perfection and colouring in between the lines, so mixed media is a great way for me to let loose. I'll share some of that here and there, and if nothing else, it will be good for us all to share a chuckle. ;)
And I am a dog-lover. Sigh. This is Joe and Libby.
In July 2014 we decided to foster Apache. Of course, he stole our hearts and became the dog named Joe who keeps me company while I write and paint. Libby, my sweet baby girl, passed away on January 31, 2015. On my mind every day and forever in my heart.
My hope is that we will be able to share things here: quotations, writing prompts, parties and contests, stories, feelings. If you feel like sharing or participating, I would support that wholeheartedly.
